Dr. Andrew (Andy) Schaneman brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the practice. A native of southeastern Wyoming, Dr. Schaneman began his academic career by earning a Bachelor of Science in zoology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Wyoming after attending Eastern Wyoming College.
From 2005 to 2007, he further specialized as a registered dental hygienist at Larimer County Community College. Dr. Schaneman’s commitment to service is highlighted by his time in the military, where he joined the Wyoming Army National Guard and deployed to Iraq in 2009 as a medic sergeant.
Dr. Schaneman continued his advanced education by earning a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Northern Colorado. In 2019, he graduated with high honors from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Following a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Rhode Island, Dr. Schaneman practiced as a general dentist before entering a specialized periodontal residency at the Richard Roudebush VA Hospital. He is currently a board-eligible periodontist and plans to achieve board certification this year.
Was in dire straits with a gum infection and extreme pain for 5 days. Dr Benson and receptionist Connie, were so kind and compassionate. Left with the feeling of being safe and being well cared for. Received antibiotics and left with a plan of care that we agreed upon. Absolutely amazing people who treat you with kindness, compassion and respect. Thank you for working me in to your busy schedule. On my way to feeling better.

Love this place. They are very good at what they do and they are very friendly, positive and efficient. They have the latest technology and my hygenist explains everything and takes the time to really get my teeth clean. Staff makes sure my services are covered by my Medicare plan. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend them.
